I believe that this song is all about pizza and elephants... If you look at the lyrics and study enough it begins to make a lot of sense. In concert Arron stated that he's always wanted to write a song metephoricly linked to Pizza and Elephants. Never thought it would be this deep though! and I bet a lot of people won't even realize it :) |

This has nothing to do with Muslims, it has to do with the Arabic language and Westerners are EXTREMELY different than Muslims! I do not dislike Muslims but their idea of life is widely consumed with hatred and control... and it has almost everything to do with their Religion. I'm also not putting their Religion down. I am a Christian but here's the facts: Islam and Christianity are BOTH practiced "modernly" different than they're supposed to or required by text. |

I actually believe the fire is a symbol of God or Faith, perhaps both. The Professor and the Lieutenant do represent cardnal sins. He eventually leaves, knowing he is going to die (perhaps meaning that to follow Christ is to die "pick up your cross and follow me"), he pursues the light and becomes as fire. The remaining beetle troups are left to wonder, or perhaps it's just Weiss asking... "Why not be utterly turned into fire?" Why not follow God to the point of death? |
