People like the one in this song remind me of a little boy that has a very precious toy and he is so proud of having it because no one else does. And after some time more and more children get this toy ('cause its relly cool :) ). And suddenly this boy doesn't like it anymore. Perhaps you know what I mean.
Anyway I like the comments on that song because here the most important side of a band hasn't been forgotten (like sometimes in "may 16").

Since this song is called "For Me This Is Heaven" I don't think it's about breaking up.
Without the title it would be more difficult but I think he's telling about a point in a relationship where you (and perhaps your partner) first doubt if you still want it and then start to remember that this is all you ever wanted while you get a picture of how it would be without her.

I got to this song by reading "Die Eier von Satan" (Oh yes, I got an alibi) and I am wondering why you even bother ? Of course, I sometimes feel obliged to save young souls from everlasting darkness, too, but she's "just" a kid. When I was 12 I also listened to crap.
I think if you like and like to think about music (true music) you'll find it.

Oh oh oh. One of those I-LISTENED-TO-PUNK-BEFORE-IT-BEACAME-POPULAR-guys. Even if I knew this song/band for 2 days this doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to say anything about it. I don't give a sh%& if a 13 Year old kid likes them because of tony hawk or because of the fact that many other 13 year old kids like them, but it seems to me that (for some people) there are more important things when they look at band than its music... no offense...

I'm pretty sure that if a Blink fan would listen to some of the other (not so popular) bands of this genre (NOFX, Lagwagon, Alkaline Trio, Ataris, Jawbreaker...) he'll find at least one band he/she likes better. Perhaps you give it a try... Blink are good but there are a lot of better bands |
