This song takes on a personal meaning for me. My husband became an alcoholic 5 years into our marriage of 10 years. I just keep waiting for the "real him", and I am always hoping....or wondering if I should leave it all behind. So much time has passed while I've been hoping. He is not abusive, he goes to work everyday; but when he comes home and on weekends he drinks and ignores me and our 10 year old daughter. |
