Wilco – Less Than You Think Lyrics 14 years ago
yes...wilcokid, it is that, "less than you think" what freedom in this, to know that what I make of this "world" is less than than the all mighty importance I place on it! thank you

Wilco – Black Moon Lyrics 14 years ago
Yes...Wilco is great, I am drawn to Jeff Tweedy's lyrical poetry in the same way, years ago, I was affected by Jim Morrisson's poetry... kinda dark but beautiful in a sweetly sad way. Very striking to me are the lines "And I'm waiting for you...Waiting forever..for you to wake now, too... These words may be speaking to, not another person, but to his real self, speaking to the constructed self that needs to awake. I love poetry and Wilco!

R.E.M. – Walk It Back Lyrics 14 years ago
very nice vocals...both lead and backing... As far as the meaning, I have had moments when I wish I would have had a better way of saying what was in my heart, because somehow it seemed that my true feelings were misunderstood...would have been good to "Walk it Back"

I agree, Hopeless love with it's pain...most important in the aftermath is to give love and expect nothing in return... I guess just apreciate

David Gray – Real Love Lyrics 15 years ago
I agree...of course there is a dual meaning, depending on the listener..but for me,the only real love is not of this "fake world"...whatever the meaning of Davids prose in this song, real love is so awesome, whether its romantical or a Love of the higher order.

John Lennon – Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) Lyrics 16 years ago
thank you jxpx...yes, I also think John was mocking the superficial tendancies of the rich and famous...how about the verses: "why in the world are we here?.. "surely not to live in pain and fear"...why on "earth" would any of us chose fear
