Ok so this is what I think:
This song is about a relationship. The guy was the one that initiated the relationship by pursuing the girl, making promises and totally making her fall for him. She fell for him because he knows just what to say and what to do to make her melt. And then once the guy gets what he wanted - her to fall for him - he is over it. He only likes the chase not actually being in a relationship so he turns cold. He probably strings her along because he still likes controling her and she is still blinded by the promises he made. Things obviously don't work out and they break things off. Now that things are broken off he wants to chase her again because he likes the chase. She realizes that he is only about the chase and will never actually lover her. So this song is her epiphany. She has a weakness for him but it will never work. She is basically saying to him walk away because I see right through you. |

I love everything about this song. I think it is about the 'hunter' finding out that the 'hunted' person is actually interested and it catches the 'hunter' off guard because they are so comfortable playing the game. Now the 'hunter' is vulnerable because it is in a new role. |
