Probably to do with Limp Bizkit and how he felt his music was being molested into something he never wanted to see it become... he tried to not be selfish about it but eventually realized his selflessness was causing his own misery. I think it can be applied to any situation where one is not happy where they are in life; even though one may have done the right things, at the end of the day all that matters is whether you're happy with yourself or not... in turn the moral appears to be sometimes it's not so selfish and terrible to look after what's good for you, sometimes you have to. When I'm there, this is the song I go to and it helps me understand things a little more. |
