Darren Hayes – Insatiable Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song was very poplour in Asia(maybe still remembered as a masterpiece of Darren)...Although it's not my favorite but still ,very romantic in a sensual way... i am sad to see people criticized it. his voice in the song is really gorgeous and the image the song described is poetic... and the song is much better in live! |
Darren Hayes – Who Would Have Thought? Lyrics | 15 years ago |
The video is a masterpiece! The journey of a tiny delicate origami crane on the video just catch my breath. It matches this beautiful song very well. the song is all about that "the tiny courageous" can actually bring something "amazing".no matter how lonely you feel, you shouldn't lose faith in love.even in the worst situtation, you still hold your dream and courageously fight for you future. |
Darren Hayes – Unlovable Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"You fed your love to me like crumbs to pigeons in the park, Sometimes I think you're satisfied to see me begging like a dog.."The lines strike my heart too! thank you for all your passion and brilliant interpritation for Darren(though you seems less like his new ablum...) i saw this song's video on the internet. It just astonished me at once.it's so painful and sooooooooo real! It's almost unlike a music video,it's just a record of dark period he suffered. |
Darren Hayes – Where You Want To Be Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i totally agree with you:) this song is about Darren and Daniel...I think this break-up thing hurt Darren so deeply...some words in this song are very similar to what Darren said about Daniel in a interview. |
Darren Hayes – Ocean Lyrics | 15 years ago |
why nobody ever commented this song? here are Darren's words from myspace: "I wrote a song before I began this album. A song neither here nor there. One last song about the pain before I saw light. I was in Santa Monica with Rick Nowels and the heartache that inspired 'Unlovable' was finally put to rest in one last song. "Which pretty much sums up how I feel when I'm in this space. Flying in a tin can in a place neither here nor there. When I wrote this song I was in Santa Monica and feeling lost and I had yet to meet my soul mate. The ghost of the past would haunt me one last time as I wrote this song. " the song is simple but full of mixed emotions. It’s a sad good-bye to the past or the ex lover. It’ also a uncertainty of the future and the new love. Your sense tells you to move on and begin a new life but your heart still feels the same way. (I really did a bad job in written English…forgive me… if I’ve made some mistakes….for I’m not from a English-speaking country and never worked hard in English study…) |
