| Its interesting how this song isn't like most songs about alcoholism. The song seems to be more about lifting somebodies spirits than just talking about what happened to her. I wonder if this song is a more private song aimed at somebody she knows and trying to encourage them. | |

Could somebody explain these parts? "it takes more than milk to get rid of the taste" why milk? I've never heard of anyone using milk to cover up tastes. Is this part of the thing with the use of drugs this song seems to be implying? "To get all fitted out for The Paperback Throne" What is the "paperback throne"? The song seems to be talking about getting ready to go to this place, where you wanted to help, but no one was around that place. Great song, great message. It'd be even better if those two lines made sense though lol. thanks. |
