| Just Surrender – Your Life and Mine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I definitely agree with chase_this_light. about it all. but in a shorter version: it was all at a party where they met, but he feels shes more special than just a one night stand. and her bf cheated on her with her bestfriend. hence "theres a tear in your storied eye". and he feels she deserves to be treated better-- even if just for one night. then go back to their own lives. but he sent her a letter to remind her of the times they had. |

| Lupe Fiasco – Switch (The Science Project) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

miggles23 sums this up well with: Metaphorically, Lupe's switch, makes you realise that a balance is needed for an individual life. A choice to one side can be easily countered by something similarly as simple as the choice. |

| Thriving Ivory – Angels on the Moon (Album version) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"Do you believe in the day that you were born?" = Do you believe we were born for a purpose? "If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go." = Be optimistic; look for the light in all things. "But don't tell me where the road is 'cause I just don't want to know." = Find/make your own path in life. I agree with this. And it pretty much screams to enjoy life while you can. It's rather inspiring, in my opinion. I love the choice of words. "This is to one last day in the shadows" I think means stop hiding, and be yourself. |

| Thriving Ivory – Unhappy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The girl is having bad times, probably a boyfriend. So she goes to this guys house for help, and he lets her. Something happens and he wonders if it's alright that he's doing this even with her ex. Which is why she said everything was a mistake. But he kinda saw that coming, apparently. But he figures they can't last. And she said maybe, just maybe you won't end up like him. ^ Maybe these two can work out, happily. Unlike her and the other guy (hence: unhappy) |

| Crossfade – Colors Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This person he's referring to, I believe is changing to try to fit in and doesn't listen when people try to help. He's saying what this person has become, is disappointing. Well they'd love to save you don't you know they love to see you smile. Meaning, they're trying to get their good old friend back. |

| Augustana – Boston Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Kinda one of those days where they feel like no one understands and they just wanna leave everything (in this case, go to Boston). You don't wear my chains - you don't know what I've been through, personally. Amazing lyrics. | |
| Third Eye Blind – Jumper Lyrics | 16 years ago |
what a great song. pretty much everyone gets what it means. trying to convince one not to be suicide. saying everyone has a reason to put the past away, meaning everyone has their share of shameful acts. doesnt mean you should kill yourself. and try to fix it. 'if you do not want to see me again, i wuld understand' hed just be glad if the kid doesnt kill himself and gets help. |

| Eminem – We Made You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song was on the news when it first came out. Eminem said this song is poking fun at certain celebrities because of their behavior and such. Though he shouldn't talk. Ahah. I enjoy his songs, though. Some celebrities were offended, but some were flattered by being in his song, apparently. Love it. |

| Trapt – Echo Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The reason he repeats himself, is why it's called echo. "let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride." and the i knew i loved you, i knew i loved you, ect. The point is how he always thinks about her. Just like echos repeat themselves, so do thoughts of her. "Time that called for space" - is the breakup. And he wants to let go of the past, move on, with her. "Run away with you, by my side." Maybe something happened, that he needs to let go of his pride and forgive. He can't "waste time asking why" because then he'll second guess himself, and not want to be with her. I think. |
| Trapt – Ready When You Are Lyrics | 16 years ago |
He wants to be with her. She's confused and has been hurt before. She's afriad, and not ready yet. So when she is, he'll be there. Don't want to strangle this, so I'm holding back for now ^^ he doesn't want to be clingy, so he's controlling himself and trying to be patient. (Tied down) Don't want any false starts ^^ he doesn't want to force her into it, unless she's fully dedicated and sure. He doesn't want her to lie about loving him. I relate. And I love this song. |

| Kevin Rudolf – Let It Rock (feat, Lil Wayne) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is about betrayal. Idk why you all think its about some religious, Jesus, things. I believe it screams betrayal, fakes, greedy, ect. "To justify the way you live a lie, live a lie, live a lie" But idk much about religious things, so who knows. Maybe it is. I'm pretty sure it's about how he's disgusted with a lot of people lately, because of their attitudes and such, ways mentioned above. I don't blame him. And the random Lil Wayne rapping about sex.. Well.. I don't really understand the significance. I like Lil Wayne and all. I just don't see how he pertains to the song. |
| Kevin Rudolf – Welcome to the World Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Maybe some girl got more popular for a bit and became conceited about it, (You get your fifteen - 15 minutes of fame) then finally came back to reality and realized it was over (Welcome to the world). Check out the forecast, predictions wont stop - that could mean that a lot of famous people have become really predictable with attitudes. And in the second verse it kinda says how her fame-time ended with 'no more free shit' and the free ride reached its destination, ect. And the chorus is just saying like, 'hey, welcome back' attitude. Maybe, just maybee. |
| Thriving Ivory – Hey Lady Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love this song. I agree with them on the "blue-eyed metaphor" line. I believe this is about the guy being in love, while the girl thinks she is, but is constantly questioning herself (she is always searching) and unsure about it (don't wanna hear that it's all gonna end soon). He doesn't want her to give up on him. Chorus emphasizes how much he wants her to stay, til death. The part I don't get is: she checks her pulse gotta know if her heart's still beating and the hospitals not far if anything should happen here |
