It doesn't matter how much you warn your kids about treating animals with general tips (don't squeeze, don't crush), they will find a twisted way to hurt them (they made frogs smoke till they explode), pushed by his curiosity and imagination. Maybe like humanity do, in an ecological point of view. Actually, the song's title is more literal than some people could think. Actually, if you put a cigarrete into a frog (or toad) mouth it will smoke, sucking, searching for air... till it explode. My father told me they used to do stuff like that (including making toads smoke) to small animals when he and his brothers were kids, in his village. Sorry for my poor english level. :S |
