Revised version heres my interpretation. first two lines are literal straighfoward he is floating through life he needs someones to help him. "and if im blind i will lead you on". this could be i would do anything for you no matter what my situation i will be there to help you, extremely positive or it could mean that i will need you to follow me no matter how much trouble it could land you in, meaning that he is bad for this person. im not sure why theyre time would be coming to an end. maybe hes pulling this person in before they can get away. werewolf is two people? maybe the sane rationale one and the one who loses it when the moon comes out. "Let me rid myself of any line that I might use to trip you up" this is the bad side of the werewolf the one who lies who says things that arent true to wow the person hes talking about. but he wants to throw away the lies and do right by them its hard tho, thus the werewolf imagery. So he knows he will blindly lead this person to bad places while possibly lying? "dont you kid yourself, I will be your luck and never your curse" this means that its niave of the person to think that chris could be good for them, that they would have to believe obvious bs to think chris is luck. hes saying he is a curse, the curse of lying, werewolf. "Help me I don't know what I'm saying Sometimes this tongue can be betraying" more of the es with no control. "And if I'm wrong, is that such a crime? And if you want, you can set my words to right" this seems to be the bad side of the werewolf taking over saying whats so bad about all the lies trying to trick. but then he says you can hold me to my words, so if i lie you should hold that against me and the truth will then be found eventually. "And if your eyes forget to well And if your lies forget to tell And if our paths forget to cross It doesn't mean you're lost" this bit confuses me... if you cant cry, be honest/be yourself, or be with someone then it doesnt mean your lost... (id have a difference in opinion) "so as your laughing a this fool tonight" as my werewolf act has seduced you(using seduced very loosly here) "let me rid myself of any line(lie) that i mught use to trip you up.
