This song is great, love it. Here is my theory; "We need everyone's attention! There are words that must be said" -pretty much speaks for itself.. "We will never bite our tongues again, because everything they hold is the greatest lie" -we will never fail to speak out again.. "they" couldt be politicians or other "elite" in the system. "But no one of us sleeps tonight We are the ones who must make a stand" -time for revolution, we muste change things. "We need everyone to listen up! To the frailty words that we say! Bring back our fucking strength - pick up yourself In a world filled with hate - We are the hope! We are the cure!" -Again it seems like its about some kind of revolution. "We've been sleeping for ages but never once did we dream about this That the bitter taste of disillusion is just enough to keep us underneath the surface" -To be "sleeping" is usualy used by those who often are called conspiracy teoretics as a word for they who havent woke up yet and still belives in capitalism and so on. "Under the surface" is another expession for "not active" or "staying in the system". "The business of our living" -We will not stand for this society where people make money on us and we want freedom.. kind of. "But tonight it's heart and soul versus, Versus, versus none! Days like these won't last forever Let's go! " -yeah, again the revolution, we will change this and so on. This was my guesses, maby its all wrong, but I hope i'm right because the world needs to wake up. |
