i dont think you are meant to understand this song therefor everybodies interpretations are in fact correct-it does however contain themes "beware this troubled world watch out.." this line in the song portrays the temptations of the world, the conflict and the pain. Its quite a hopeless song in all aspects actually "hang on and though we try it's sone.." hopeless but beautiful. Really betokens the feeling of a troubled world through troubled cryptic lyrics and moody traces. Beautiful |

You interpretated the song incredibly well. Spot on if I say so... I think its about when two people who are sexually charged and not thinking straight (on weed) are teasing each other and toying with eachother-after a while they have sex if this is a good thing or a bad thing I must know everything so it depends how you look it-you could regret it or just be like ok continue with life I got laid last night.
Good work you are very articulate with your opinions on this song your ideas flowed and I couldnt spot a flaw as hard as I did try. |

This song is to me a warning I dont know completely what he is trying to say as he is an individual and a song writer and I dont know anything but the message is pretty obvious-hang onto your iq-meaning dont let the temptations of the world-drugs"gotta get high before I go outside" and sex-"two rubbers two lubes.." he seems regretful of all that he has done but at a stage when he doesnt have the energy to do anything about it but this is his warning to others. Hang on to your id:your personality-addiction in any form drains you of your soul and personality, what it is that diffferentiates you from other people-your indiviuality basically he is syaing dont let addictions take over your life and destoy yourself. Amazing song even without words the music is very moving. I understand his voice through this song with ease. Dont let the world suck your soul |
