It seems like the guy just doesn't really want to be in a monogamous relationship even though that's what the girl wants. He wants to play the field & live it up rather than be 'tied down' to one person for the rest of his life. even though he tried to play the loving boyfriend role, it's not reality for him. that's what I'm getting from this song at least. "faking what they cannot feel hoping they can make it real" love this line :D |
