YOU make me sick. Stop trashing Hip Hop, R&B, and Rap. Sure, most of it nowadays isn't very good, but some of it actually has meaning, other than having sex or doing drugs. No one wants to hear your opinion. I like Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, AND Rock AND other genres. Having a diverse taste in music is a cool thing. Who the hell are you to say that we don't deserve to hear Tool's songs? I have Tool on my ipod and Run DMC. Two completely different groups but both have amazing songs. wow. such a dirty song. its about sex. plain and simple. my face turned really red when he started singing: "let me feel you upside down slide in slide out slide over here and climb into my mouth now" I almost fainted when I first listened to that part because my little bro walked into the room. my mother's co-worker burned her a mix CD of different bands and he happened to put this song and "Flowers and Football Tops" on there. she let me put it on my ipod and I fell in love with the band as well as the rest of their songs. his accent is so beautiful (not to mention sexy) and I love the message. geraldine is a social worker who goes beyond what her job requires to help someone. personally I like this version better than Don Henely's. don't get me wrong, Don's version was good too, but this version appeals to me more. Its about a boy who likes (loves?) this beautiful girl, but in the summertime other guys are always around her and she hangs out with them. he's saying he's willing to wait until summer is over to be with her when those guys aren't around anymore. this is such a mellow song with a depressing air to it. its very beautiful and tugs at my heartstrings everytime I listen to it. for some reason I always picture a girl lying on her bed and just staring blankly with tears in her eyes at the wall when I hear this song. I always took this song as someone whose life is falling apart. they feel sort of dead. they also have a special someone who is leaving or gone. "Now kiss me one last time and bring me back to life" they want that person to just kiss them one more time and make them happy or "bring them back to life". well thats what I always thought of it, but noiseahollic proved me wrong(: ~ohwhatsherface |

"and you know that it's forever now that he has custody with his son up on his shoulders they're a sight to behold 'cause the dad is twenty eight even though he looks seventeen" I believe this means that the boy who has the kid is seventeen, but because he won the custody of his kid and has taken the responsibility of caring for a child at such a young age, it makes him mature; hence: he acts like he's twenty-eight even he is seventeen years old. the rest of the song is about how Kimya wishes that she could settle down or be like a fish, but she's a turtle. turtles move around all the time, they never stop traveling. she's saying she can't ever stay in one place. "with my house upon my back so I can hide inside of me" I think she's saying her real home is inside her, so she can go anywhere she wants and she will always feel at home, or something to that effect. I don't get the intro or the ending paragraphs but its a really great song. Kimya is incredible with her lyrics. :] |
