I think some of the above lyrics are wrong... This is what I hear: I sent a message in a bottle, took another swallow I heard it didn't get there I heard that it had missed ya' but this is what it said Today the things they goin' my way, I'm back together again I'm staring in the mirror and it's been so long Since I've seen you my friend... Reminds me of coming out of a haze... alcoholic haze, drug induced haze, broken hearted haze (in this case broken heart) and things are finally looking up after being down for so long. |
