Such a good song. My guess would be that this is the part of Cornelius Larkin's life where he is in love and after a women's heart. (Obviously) Bruce Springsteen's cameo makes the song even better! |

Well... Sounds like Matty Good is pissed haha. Idk seems pretty straight forward to me. Christians do own Hardcore pretty much... As I Lay Dying... Attack Attack... Disney and punk.... Jonas Brothers.... *Puke* He's just talking about how the scene is totally sell out now... Nothing says rebellion like selling out right? |

| Alesana – Annabel Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I'm thinking she left him because she knew he was killing people.. "Just say to me that this time is the last time...And I'll pretend I'm fine." Like she was watching it happen and she just stood on the sidelines. But she finally just left and that's what drove him over the edge. So in his mind he killed her when in reality she just abandoned him. Then all these murders happened so she put a stop to it herself. |

| Alesana – To be Scared by an Owl Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it is based on the poem Annabel.. Loosely though... Because there is a lot of story going on... Like he loves this girl and shes murdered... and he confronts the murderer and its like them chasing each other down... And the album isn't based in a "kingdom by the sea" the whole time. I'm sure Annabel the poem is a major part but it wouldn't be Alesana if they didn't tell their own story along with it. | |
| Escape the Fate – 10 Miles Wide (feat. Josh Todd) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Yeah I agree with ImTooDrunk... I think its about how he went through all this shit about fans being split up and along the way he lost who he was and "got a hole that's 10 miles wide" But then he realized hes fucking awesome and no one else can do it like he can "take me on i'm feeling in the mood for something dangerous i've found myself again" |

First of all... Alesana is an amazing band that could most likely pull off whatever they put their minds to.. My spin on the song- Clearly it is about Rome and its downfall and how The Great Fire destroyed alot of Rome. But they are just using this all as symbolism to describe the pain of losing someone... In this case well say a girlfriend. They are using the emotions of the citizens of the city along with their terror and loss of everything they have ever known to describe how the feeling of losing someone you loved with your whole heart feels like... Its kinda hard to put my thoughts down but thats just my take |
