These are some extraordinarily deep song lyrics. We see that the singer not only loves Blue Eyes for what she looks like, but also by what she is like, what she says. Unlike some of you agreed to, i don't think that "All the lights on and you are alive. But you can't point the way to your heart" mean that it is right enfront of her but if she only opened her eyes. I think it means more of how she is so great and alive, but she can't show people how to get to her heart. The singer doesn't know how to make her love him. My other favorite lines are also "So sublime, when the stars are aligned. But you don't know You don't know the greatness you are". As I feel about love, and how I saw The Butterfly Effect, John Patrick Amedori tells the girl he likes "Do you realize how beautiful you are?", I think it means more that he loves her and thinks she is the greatest thing, but she has no idea of how he thinks about her. She might just think that she is not so worthy, but apparently our singer thinks otherwise. Not everyone has "blue eyes" but really, thats not literally the color of someone's eyes he's talking about, he's talking about a person he decides upon calling Blue Eyes, yes I know very obvious aha. Truly, this song is entirely meaningful and i give it elevated props ;) |

so basically I think I think that maybe this ladies' man has found the one. He found her and she's all he sees. "Everybodys looking at you like they want to..." thats great :) my favorite lines "i will buy you things. Like diamond rings" i have that on a shirt now haha. Its saying that he would get her anything in the world, and he uses diamonds because they are one of the main symbols of rich, and the most beautiful things. I love this song:) |

I might be wrong here but I mean were all just suggesting right? :) ok so I think the first stanza of this song might mean that no matter how deep in troubles, or how hard it is for you to get out, you will stick with that person, that one person. the next little part "why should I stay here. why should I stay?" might mean that there really is no reason to do anything at all, but we do them anyway right? the next two parts are deep.he would follow the person no matter what, she/he is the salvation.then they end up leading him to his end and when he tries escaping its all too hard and too late while everyone else is as free as a dove. he got destroyed by even the smallest things in the end, and things you would never expect to destroy you. at the ultimate point, he hits the bottom with the net ya know, like when nemo saves the fishes in the movie? they tried to fish him in but he escaped.hes free I hope maybe that helped:) |
