This song is AMAZING!! XD Prob my FAVORITE ON THE ALBUM!! The story is great, When I first listened to it, I thought it was just a good tune, I wasent really paying attention to the real depth meaning of the lyrics. But once the lyrics caught onto me, I started noticing some things, So I looked up the lyrics to this song, and the story made me fucking FALL IN LOVE with the song. Now that I get what its about I love it even more. It's about a guy who's dateing a girl and everything is good right, (Maybe too good,) But then he fears that he'll get hurt, Or that it would be over, "- Our love had been so strong for far too long, I was weak with fear that something would go wrong" So, In a freaky twisted way, He killed her. So that she could never hurt him, He didnt want a possibility of it ever to be 'over' "-I was weak with fear that something would go wrong, Before the possibility came true, I toke all possibility from you." The next lines talk about him killing her. Then the next, "I can keep you lookin' young and preserved forever, With a fountain to spray on your youth whenever." Now that she's dead, He can keep her forever. The next line talked about her comming back from the dead, to haunt him for what he has done. "New possibilities I'd never considered, Are occurring the likes of which I'd never heard. Now an angry soul comes back from beyond the grave, To repossess a body with which I'd misbehaved." She kills him for killing her. The next line, He is now dead and he wants to appologize for what he has done. "Now that it's done I realize the error of my ways. I must venture back to apologize from somewhere far beyond the grave. I gotta make up for what I've done" He wants to try whatever it takes to make it up to her. "I will suffer for so long, To make it up to you I'll do whatever you want me to do And if it's not enough If it's not enough Try again" And again, Over and over again She forgives him and in death they have a wedding "Were coming back, coming back. We'll live forever, live forever. Lets have a wedding, have a wedding. Lets start the killing, start the killing." And now they can be together in eternity. Forever. Amazing song <3 |

This was an AMAZING song! Its like telling you no matter what you go through, no matter what happens, to trust yourself, "trust the voice withen" and you'll find you way. When Christna was little she was a social outcast, alot of the kids at her school didnt like her, most likely beacuse of jelousy for her (AMAZING) voice. This song was so inperatinal to me through the bad times, (In the past.. I was an outcast too.) Basically shes just saying to trust yourself and everything will be ok. Great song |

In my own opinion, Paradoxical Martyr's version of the song sounds alot fucking better to me. Like even if it's not what the song's really about, but the story sounds better in that little summary then just living in iowa. I'll go with that. |
