Guy's comments at the Wembley gig about this song is pretty much what has been said. It is about a relationship with a girl who basically kept him dangling on a piece of string. He would basically drop everything the moment she called, hence the lines..... A wonderful song and, despite what was said previously, has only been played by the band live once. That was actually for the Live from Abbey Road Version with the BBC Orchestra. You can actually see just what this song means to Guy on that video. This wasn't played at the Wembley Arena gig. I was also there. |
