The guy that wrote the lyrics down is an idiot it seems. The Pennines are a set of mountains which spread from northern Europe to a large section of mountains in Russia (and it has a stop in Siberia I believe the well known spot where pre-communists sent people and where the communists sent people. Trans-Pennine is a train service that travels across many points in this mountain range. |

Mastodon just do epic concept albums each one with a different short story told in chronological order through the songs. I suggest you listen to the albums crack the skye (the newest one, about a guy in a coma and rasputins ghost and the guy in comas ghost's adventures.) and Leviathan isn't a bad album, especially the first track. |

just read sfsplayer's comment for plot of this one shortened version is, jesse is killed in this story and so is ambellina. the writer goes so Batshit insane he thinks hes dying in his dream then gets teleported into the story, right in front of claudio kilgannon and ambellina. he has wanted to kill ambellina as she represents all the good things about his ex-girlfriend Erica court, so that he could finally feel like he'd let go of his resentment for his ex. he throws ambellina into something deadly using god powers and claudio tries fighting him back. because the writer is the God in the story world, all claudios attempts fail. the writer feels like hes finally sorted things out a bit and tell claudio to do his damn job. |

Mayo is the first name of a bad guy in the Story of Coheed and Cambria. Short for Mayo Detinwolf, he is a cyborg who was sent by the Big Bad guy (I forget his name) to convince Coheed and Cambria to kill their own children. only Claudio survived due to coming home too late he was meant to come home at 2100 (He came home at 2113, hence the name of the song 2113). Claudio has a power gave to him by the god of Heavens fence called the Suffering, which is a power which will undo God's great works. But as we find out in Good Apollo I'm burning Star IV :From Fear through the eyes of madness, it turns out that the God is actually a writer of a story. And they all live in his book, the God's Rapture is actually just the ending of the story. |

i don't think this one is actually about coheed It sounds more like a fight between 3 people, one of whom is badly injured and whilst in delirium is remembering fondly his friends, Hence the line "You've been a good friend to me". Then on the line "There, corner tall short stance, it's you Come on, kill me!" the one which is`severely injured has spotted his assailant and is threatening him. |
