To me, this song is about, honestly, a total bitch.. in her point of view. For example: She'll see them and judge them down to the bone, and nothing they say can change her mind about them. They can use their 'stolen power' as in something maybe they've seen of how men are to act with women, or something along those lines, but she can see right through his mind games that seem to work with every other girl "I'll seek you out Flay you alive One more word and you won't survive And I'm not scared Of your stolen power I see right through you any hour" Men line up being totally infatuated with her, but she knows better on the outcomes "I won't soothe your pain I won't ease your strain You've been waiting in vain I've got nothing for you to gain" Intimidation and the woman takes control "Eyes on fire Your spine is ablaze Felling any foe with my gaze And just in time In the right place Steadily emerging with grace" Thats just the way I perceive this song, sorry if it might not make perfect sense |
