Obviously this song is about a guy falling for a girl who he once kissed but it meant nothing to her since she already move on to another guy Personally, this song is just like me and my first love. We were friends and we got closer and we kissed. Whenever we meet, we spent hours talking and kissing. I had the idea that we were a couple but I was just friends with benefit. So when he start dating another girl seriously, it hurts. I guess he never knew how I felt. He thought I was cool with it. We were still friends but not so close anymore cuz his new gf is the jealous type. He invited me to his wedding and I didnt go because "I just cant look, its killing me" - Told him I have to work outstation, but the truth is I went out of town and locked myself for a week in hotel room, I just want to be alone. Can't believe no one comment on this. Ronan sounds so sincere..Like he really mean every word he sang..fo' real I think the meaning of the song is pretty clear. "Our love has changed, It's not the same" i personally think they are growing up and the love is real..no more "hot and cold" puppy love |

at first i assume its about his mom, after he twitter about illness, i kinda knew its about Mari(his wife) well, its about his wife auto-immune disease.. this song (for me) is more like his mom situation but rob set it straight, its about their struggle with the disease. He said its about "empathy" but personally, i still relate this song to dying--im just sayin |

yay!!! this song is amazing. it makes me cry. her diamonds is her tears he couldnt help her cuz she is dying there is nothing that he can do "And I don’t know what I’m supposed to do So I sit down and I cry too But don’t let her see" in the end of the lyrics rob said " i cant take the diamonds falling down" he just cant see her in pain because she is losing the battle she is dying and she knows it in this lyrics, rob is so helpless love u rob!!! |
