I think that the song is good, but put together with video it's just kinda disturbing, same thing with dull boy, the songs good, but the video ruins it for me, now whenever I hear dull boy, it just reminds me of the disturbing video that goes with it... the only song by these guys that doesn't have a disturbing video is Happy. |

I think this song is about having you life flash before you eyes, because the whole video takes place durring a car accident, and during the crash they show different events in his life, or what he did earlier, either way it makes sense |

because it wouldn't have as much impact on the viewer if it was a normal girl, it's supposed to be a popular guy and a popular girl going out doesn't work out, and the "nerd" is the only one who noticed "If you could see that I'm the one who understands you", get it, and you can tell she's a "nerd" because of the way she dresses and acts. |

I think this song means that just because they're not cool and popular like you doesn't mean you shouldn't give them a chance, that applies to me a little, most of the popular kids in my school hate my guts, but there are some popular kids that are nice and guess who they are, my friends because they gave me a chance, now some more popular kids that hated me are starting to realize that and don't pick on me as much, so thanks Taylor Swift, you really said something to some of the people in my school! |
