| Punch Brothers – Who's Feeling Young Now? Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Can't beleive no one has posted to this yet. Just found these guys 2 days ago, this was the song I heard. Blowing my mind once again, it's nice to feel that old magic coming back. Completely original band, kicking some raw modern bluegrass ass. Psychedelic Bluegrass? (= | |

"Getting stoned, Getting fat, in your rented flat." and also change 'There's no limit what the next you can do' That obviously makes absolutely no damn sense at all. It is as abi 33 said above "There's a limit to what nature can do" Abi I like your post about your personal experience, maybe the person you were with smoke a lot of weed, as do I. Personally though I think it wasn't weed that was dragging him down, the line "sweating cold turkey" that doesn't happen on marijuana, think heroin. Singer sounds lazy as crap all the time as well, like it could possibly be a preference of drug. As far as what Abi said about the limit to what nature can do, and her explanation of that, I believe is right on. 'Most annoying show you've ever seen' going somewhat by abi33's interpretation above, meaning that in my experience as a man, women have a very different taste of what's funny, the television we watch is an example of that. The girl obviously inside hated the crap he watched, as he did it all the time. The girl is obviously younger, he's 4 years old, she has red stripes hanging on your hair could be a usual ribbon that she used frequently. I know no metaphors for the line, I know that in the flash video during that line the character is visiting a bar called 'red stripes.' If the animation is created solely for the meaning of the song then 'Red Stripes hanging on your head' would simply mean he can't wait to get to this bar for a little more intoxicating 'getaway.' |

| Wild Beasts – Two Dancers (I) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I agree with Roosey about the prostitution bit. The Dancers (stripper/prostitute) entertaining, getting deeper and deeper in that business to make money for ends meat. But as far as him saying 'I feel as if I've been where you have been' personally I think it's a statement from the singer himself. If you look at the song All The Kings Men, it has the same overall theme, sex addiction. Maybe the singer has been fornicating with every girl that strolls along and he's starting to feel a little ashamed. | |

| Been looking at all the comments. Definitely agreeing with the story of the dancers (stripper/prostitute). Roosey said it most, I just think 'I feel as if I've been where you have been' means that the singer has just been laying himself out and screwing all the girls in his face, and frankly starting to feel ashamed of it all, looking at All the Kings Men as well, that song is in the same lines as this one. Guy's got a sex addiction. | |

I'd have to agree with Goetia up there. This was something most extreme to hit my ears this morning. I looked up "Hella" on Youtube not too far off ago, and had a chance to watch Zach Hill on drums there. I have to say that Hella really isn't my thing and as I watched the videos I wondered why that guitarist was even there with the calamity of the drums. It was cluttered noise to my ears. I couldn't stop watching Zach tear those damn drums up though, and thinking "Yeah, put this guy with Omar, and you can have some really good results." I honestly hope that Thomas Pridgeon remains in the Volta though, I still don't think Zach Hill compares to him. He's fast, sure, but that's never what it was all about to me. Pridgeon goes fast with great groove. |
