Seabear – Hospital Bed Lyrics | 15 years ago |
hm, i think that he's terminally ill, but i don't think that when he says "So I grab on and hold to the spider's neck" he's going out of the hallucination, but getting out of the hospital, so he can live the best of his last moments with his love (he even says that there, the days are long). and it's not necessairly a drug problem, but any health problem. and in the final verses, "Like a rabbit in a human skin coat You'll dance on the yard Like a wolf flipping good-bye notes You'll howl at the sky So show your cat teeth to the lion and grab unto his main vein" i think he means that the last days were the best, as she's dancing, but that he's dying and saying that it's going to be hard on her, but that she has to put herself together and face it so she can live again. oh, and a correction. i think this part: "In that big invisible moment The king on my shoulders With the time we'll make it into sand Agreed into me keeping your hand" is "and that big, invisible boulder you keep on the shoulders with the time, we'll make it into sand agreeing you're keeping your hand" |
Seabear – Owl Waltz Lyrics | 15 years ago |
in fact, i noticed that sentence on 'cat piano' too. and the use of the 'owl' is present on other lyrics too. i guess that the lyrics' writer wanted to refer to someone or some event that is very close to him, and i find it so beautiful. |
