| I Am Ghost – The Most Beautiful Nightmare: Part Two Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Sorry to disappoint you scene kids but not all songs are broken up into verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-bridge-chorus, I know this is probably really hard to understand just try to imagine if you will that not everything comes from a mold like you. The "heads rolling" part is not in there to be "more hardcore" (whatever that means) if you listen to the entire CD most of their songs have that feel. It is used to break up the upbeat, interweaving subtle harmony used in the rest of the song, thus giving it more power. It shows different emotion, or possibly a different prospective. |

| I think it says, "how did you get to be this king without a crown?" | |

The intro was written originally by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Can%27t_Take_That_Away_from_Me It was remade several times, and the version that Strung Out used was done by Billie Holiday. |

| Strung Out – 14 Days Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"I can see the door that traps me in this place I can see my way outta here but i just can't find the key." I know this feeling all too well, I relate it to a toxic relationship. But I still dont know exactly what this song is trying to get across. I have a feeling it is a personal experience from the band. |

"Its all lost, filling spaces." = "It's over empty spaces." And while longevity does not equal quality, comparing Stung Out to any band is just wrong. |

| Nasty punk drummer? | |
| Strung Out – No Voice of Mine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I agree with everyone except urbanninja...I think he's a dick. This could be SO's view on the US government or it could be just a general hate for people that put words in your mouth. Either way its a great song, I love the intro. | |
| Strung Out – Dig Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"Now I'm wrong if I don't say enough And I'm wrong if I give in too much So I'll take a bow and get out while I can" Oh I know this all too well. Great song of course. |

I can see breaking away from something in a violent manner. Addiction, A lover, a captor. But I like the suicide idea as well, it makes sense. |

| Strung Out – Vampires Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Vampires or eternal love. | |
| Strung Out – Her Name in Blood Lyrics | 16 years ago |

This is a Strung Out song that had me hooked from the intro. I love it, but it is hard to tell what Jase is talking about. "And blow a kiss, when you only think of me" makes me think of a relationship. Like let me know when you are ready to get over yourself. I feel some suicidal love in there too. Not gonna lie....this song makes me wanna fuck. |

| Strung Out – Matchbook Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Agreed. The live in a dive version gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. One of my favorite Strung Out songs. And of course just like everyone else I can relate to this song so well. My take on the name Matchbook is just that. A frail book of paper and wood, packed with a burning agent and complete with a strike pad on the back to start your own fire. Everything in a matchbook is used for its own self destruction. What happens if you hold one of the matches up to the others after its lit? POOF! everything up and smoke... just a memory. |
