| Conor Oberst – I Got the Reason #2 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| the second verse is about postmodernism ie. satellites, hard drives and footage. But the next couple of lines are F-ing amazing, I dont know what they mean really but they fit together perfectly. | |
| Conor Oberst – To All the Lights in the Windows Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
And all the lovers that you've been teasing From your balcony= Shakespeare Solomon heard a protest From the lower court Reached in his ear for a silver dollar Just like he'd done before He tossed it high Said that wisdom's fickle And chance is God's retort And handed them a sentence It was death by Trojan horse = amazing |

| Conor Oberst – Roosevelt Room Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel...I feel like it is a modern day version but much more complicated and it is tough to completely understand what he is saying... | |
| Conor Oberst – Beach Bum/Postman Song Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I believe it is about a hurricane...and the postman delivering the letters. I could be completely wrong though because I heard it from an outside source... | |
| Conor Oberst – Ten Women Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| also the second verse is about a serious situation...sad but it is about something hard to write out. It also goes along with my idea about polygamy because of romanticism and tragedy...I feel bad spelling it out because thats something that shouldnt be put on the page so look up to verse and take it for youserlf | |
| Conor Oberst – Ten Women Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
The first verse is not about a relationship going bad. It is about the medieval times and Polygamy (thats what I take it as because look at "Ten women I miss you the same While you're kissing the ring Of some good timing king Ten women A fool I have made")...It was very usual for men to have many wives but at the same time women were acting against polygamy and trying to make their own profession in writing. Although it could be an allusion towards medieval times but also a line at his life and women. |
