I can understand exactly what he's saying. And then I remember other things that he's said. And then I recall the way he acts when out gigging at smaller venues. And it makes no sense. IDK, if you take out his stories of having been sober since 2003 (which given that we graduated the same year, would make him in high school) and/or whatever other dates, the song makes perfect sense. As does his statement. Just not in the context of what he's said in the past. |
