this song, to me, means for wrong doing done to him, he wishes karma would take effect and grant her with a disease from the next guy she kisses. he is saying that he thinks virtually nothing could make it any worse (i.e. her dying in a plane going there) hell still be dissapointed anyway. he is saying in the chorus that he hopes she reflects on the memories shes had with him and tells all the "english boys she meets" throughout the song, various lines "i hope it rains there all the time" "even if your plane crashes tonight" "i hope you have something terribly contagious on your lips" sends the msg he really wants something bad to happen to her in return for what she did to him "no more songs about you, after this one, i am done, you are you are your gone" hes dont basking in his sorrow over here, with one last song he commemorates and accepts she is gone. thats basically what i get outta it |
