I have read in certain places that Pink may be a Borderline Personality... so I do relate to her because I'm a Borderline as well... if it's true that she is, this song is definately about that and the feelings that go along with it... the lyrics are not "dirty" as someone had said, in this disorder you are rather promiscuous at times, hence why she might've even had affairs with teachers!!! And also why she says she was always in a fight and "I can't do nothing right" - Borderlines also feel a lot like they don't want to be themselves, they hate themselves, feel empty like they don't even know themselves, etc. Idk if she is for sure, of course, I'm not a doctor, but this song definately reminds me SO MUCH of myself and how I used to be in school, how I STILL feel, etc. I've also read quotes from her that also reminded me a lot of my Borderline Personality... I like Pink a lot, she was through A LOT of shit growing up but she continues kicking ARSE! And yeah, as someone else had said, they have the song title wrong on this site even! lol |

Kurt was thought to be Bipolar and possibly a Borderline Personality too... me, being both of those as well, I feel Kurt struggled a lot on the inside and he had trouble feeling like he fit in. Borderlines (and Bipolars sometimes) tend to go to drugs (and/or alcohol) to try to get their mind off of their idenity disturbances. Kurt was a very deep person and these lyrics, as well as all of his, are heartfelt. Idk if he was indeed an actual Borderline or not (he certainly fit a lot of the symptoms of it), but either way, he stuggled with his self esteem and my heart (still) goes out to him.... |
