| i believe this song refers to a woman who is wild and restless that refuses to let her guard down every time a man falls for her. she finally comes down off her pedestal("she came down from the mountain") for this guy. when he says, "i stood my ground on the mountain"...i believe it refers to him not giving up on her. And the rest is pretty much right in front of us, he knows that even though she is letting him in, its most likely temporary due to her ways. | |
