To all the people thinking of this song as apocalyptic, I agree. I honestly take a Christian view on this song... and when I first heard it, I began to believe that they have Christian beliefs as well. As far as the global warming thing goes, it's much bigger than that. Much much bigger. Frankly I'm tired of hearing those two words. My friends think this song is so depressing, and every time I play it they're like, "How could you enjoy this?!" But to me, this song is happy. He's making peace with all the turmoil in the world. And this song sparks excitement in me, and makes me think about the end of the world... To most that might sound completely ridiculous, but to Christians, the apocalypse is a good thing. However, I know I may be wrong about the Christian meaning in the song. Even if Matchbox Twenty didn't intend it to be that way, I think of this song that way. Love it. |

Are you kidding me? How is this not deep? It's not about being "deep" anyway. Such a cliche. This song is beautiful. And thank you Conversed, for posting the explanation. Sometimes you're just so... hopeless... and all you want, and desperately need is freedom, peace, hope... this song makes me think of coming out of a tough situation and saying, Wow. I survived. Sweet peace. |

Oh! One of my top 3 favorite songs of all time! "Home, where I wanted to go." is the most amazing part of the song. Their music... is... so beautiful. It's so indescribable. This might sound stupid, but every time I listen to this song, I feel like I'm flying through space... this song makes me feel invincible. My dad, who hates all "weird" music, LOVES this song. I had it as my ringback tone and he goes, "What is that song that plays when I call you? I like it!" Haha. Coldplay, you can do no wrong. |

Are you kidding me? Of COURSE this song is about God. Sanctus Real is a Christian band... if you can't stand people talking about God, then why would you listen to them? There are plenty of secular bands out there for you if you don't like hearing people praise the Creator of the Universe. How sad. |
