I agree with untoldstoriesx3 really beacuse, 'And you always smile when you tell me its over.' 'The way I see things will end as they're meant to, Just like we do.' Its as though she always breaks up with him then makes up, and everytime they do she secretly knows their going to get back together. Shes always got his head in a mess and boy does she know it, got him thinking about weather this is truly love because he thinks why should i settle for anything less than love? he knows shes the only one that he wants but he shudnt have to keep pursuding her to stay everytime she wants to leave, when hes not sure weather he's the only one she wants. At the end of the day, they both realise their in love and life wouldnt be the same without this mess of a love story, without one another! |

This is so my Mayday song! How wonderful it is to be in love and carry it out over 5 years and you'd think that it would aatleast mean something but for her it wasnt enough to just have him. So, he brakes up with her and shes begging for mercy but he cant quite show him emotions because so much is going through his mind. Throughout the song hes reflecting on their relashionship and how he thoguht they could spend forever together. How he had it all planned out and thats what he though she wanted to but it turns out she had other plans for them. Shes despiratly trying to say sorry but all he can think about how shes ruined it, with him on her skin and the letdown, and disapointment, as i cant feel much anger in this song just sadness. She let him down and now he loves her so much, but he cant bring himself to forgive her, even if he could never forget her. Sad love song really, and his hearts breaking more every second. |

This girl has left him and he wants her to see the mistake shes made. How the way she treated him was totally out of line, and she drowns herself in alcohol to block out reality and then makes these mistakes, so when shes sober shes to face all the shit shes done. She only wants him when she needs him and the rest of the time she jsut drops him, and everything their relashionship is based on is a lie, lies she leads him with. He feels like noone will ever be able to change her and shes just a let down so save yourself the trouble and dont get involved with her. As shes lying sober in her mistakes she realises what shes done and everything shes lost, "I bet your sorry." When it goes 'I bet you guess me right' im not too sure what that means so if anyone has a prefrence then that would be fab!! Hope this is almost correct.. goes well to my ex :D |

I think maybe as my perception of this song, would be how his girl just blames him as the problem, as she's in denial and would just give it all up, and run away from everything because its easier to runaway than to face the truth. Her talk is cheap and wont take a stand for him. He wants her to stay but knows she just wants to take off and leave him, and he loves he, but she doesnt love him enough to stay. He wants her to see everything shes got to stay for but she just wont listen. I mean, this song means diffferent things to different people but when i got sent this song, i guess i realised what that person was saying about me. Other from that.. absolutly powerful amazing song, would love to see them live next year sometime!! Beaaa xx |
