it should have been placed in a more meaningful place than background music at the port angeles restaurant...but I guess they didn't want to make that big a deal of it...but they should have. It could easily be played again in most early new moon scenes. It really should be. Both this song and Let Me Sign could be better utilized in New Moon than Twilight when you think about it. |

I see what you mean. This song works for early Twilight and early New Moon, since he is still trying to be practical and convince himself that leaving her is the right thing to do. It's a futile attempt with reason though...since love is a much stronger emotion. (Thank God!) |

You have it SPOT ON!! I can't believe no one else has said the exact same thing. I mean, this song will be perfect for that New Moon scene. I thought of it the first time I heard it by itself...didn't catch it in the movie, really. In Twilight, the choice to use it during that pivotal scene works...but ONLY if they use it again in New Moon. If he saves her, it's only fair to use the same song turning the meaning around to have her save him too. But it's perfect for New Moon, so much that you'd think it was written for that alone. Perfect. |
