I think its just about her getting her heartbroken. She loved him, and after it all she doesnt know if it was really love or not. A year goes by and she still doesnt like talking about it, him, etc. She doesnt want to lose her faith, she knows that God will get her through this and then she can handle it. And talk about it. In the end God has helped her through it and she can see whats right again. |

When he refers to his body being a witch, and burning it.. I think it is just him coming clean.. or starting over. Like, planting your fields, the soil gets old, you burn it, and start again. "My flesh is heretic" Knowing he has drifted off and needs to come back. |
