When I first heard this song, I threw up in my mouth (metaphorically). The writers of this song took an iPod full of cliche, overused lines and pressed shuffle. And the result was this song. The two big kickers for me were: "And the Jay-Z song was on." Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus/ Destiny/ Hope/ Grace/ whatever the hell she's deciding to be called now IS NOT allowed to sing about Jay-Z. Ever. Even if there was a fire! (haha, Stepbrothers refrence) It should be illegal. I bet Jay-Z was not happy about this. And the other one is: "It's a party in the U.S.A" WTF. She's talking about being nervous, and now the whole United States of America is throwing a party? Who comes up with this nonsense!? It is pure ridiculousness. However, whoever else puts this song together did a good job of making it marketable and playable on the radio. The beat is catchy and her voice sounds pretty good. (As good as Hannah Miley Destiny Cyrus Montana can get) But the words are, on a scale of 1 to 10, a -4. Really terrible. But, I'm not so rude normally :) Just this song. Makes me want to throw knives at babies. Haha, just kidding. kind of. :D Well, can anyone tell me how to post lyrics for a band, rather than get the artist approved? Because the artist isn't on here... |
