the moment i heard the title, i knew he was talking about dreaming. and when you dream of your teeth falling out, it generally means that the teeth reflect your anxieties on what others think of you, (or just anxieties in general). but i totally understand @pumkinhed's view on this, as well.:) |

they're an unbelievable band, such a great song, and such a great album. in my opinion, i think that even though he's saying that she might die, because she's weak and the cancer is there, he also shows hope and his belief on how strong she is.<3 i wish this album had come out when i was younger, would have definitely helped me with losing my dad to cancer.:\\ |

This song reminds me of my grandmother so much. She always believed (and still does) that she's indestructible and strong, and nothing will ever happen to her. She's killing her own son (My God, i've see my children die.) and all she cares about is the legacy she leaves behind. I love The Cab though. and this song. |

He's definitely talking about naivety. This song is amazing. "But what you don't know is you're too young and eager to love." In my mind, that ^ is the key line to naivety in the song. You never know though, a lot of artitst write about general things with a serious hidden message, you know? The artist is really the only person who knows what it's about. The Chorus is.. indescribable.. I happen to love the fact that JM isn't very wellknown, it makes their music seem more personal to me:) The Chorus though.. wow... i just love it... i've listened to this song over 2000 times since the early 06.. maybe even more.. I agree with Deadink COMPLETELY. The way he sings it, the melody, they all reflect on how empty existence feels. I also like this cover WAY better than the Tears For Fears cover, this has more emotion, in my opinion. |
