I agree, it's the lament of a 9-11 victim on the window ledge, going crazy from the knowledge that no one can help him, there's no way out, and he's going to burn or jump very soon. He's going to die, and the fate of his soul is out of his hands for now. The song chills me to the bone. |

It's about Bush and 9-11. Our finest hour was right after 9-11, when the whole world was with us. The day lighting up with fire is the towers. The believers are behind him smiling as he prepares to attack a country who had nothing to do with 9-11, Iraq. The misquided fool is Jesus, do unto others as you'd have them do...Bush is old testament, an eye for an eye...meeting violence with violence leaves a world full of dead men. |

I guess I was way off base. I was sure I had it right...a damaged American soldier singing to George W Bush...who claims he talks to God, hangs out only with his faithful followers, and inflicts death and destruction to innocents...and I thought child abusing meant grinding up 18-19 year olds in the military machinery. Bush's world will come crashing down when the war criminial is convicted. Think I'm a little biased? Maybe?! I'll still listen to it my way, it's an outstanding song, just amazing.
