If this song was to have a deeper message, i would guess that it's that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and also that woman these days are too obsessive about how they look "smearing cream on your face" and that they should chill and show natural beauty and personality.
It also obviously critisizes the gays, rich, and those who spend money for sex changes. He shows that he is disgusting which is a strange source to hear the opinion from of beauty but this could be for two affects, gwars "nasty" appeal, that is the role-play they have going, but also for irony to amplify their opinion. |

I think you kinda have it but a bit exagerated. They are no so hateful of Christians as you make it appear. "maybe it's nothing at all" You have to take into consideration their "role-play", so as alien scum they want to fight whoever earths biggest badass is, more than about religeon itself. |

Lol, hater.
Jon Schaeffer is a history feind, so this is obviously about the American Revolution, however, the names were probably excluded for the purpose that it can be related to other things. |

This is my first analysis of a song on here. But anyway.
I think this song is about temptation. To be lost is a feeling we all have occasionally, and it implies that we are looking for something. The person is lost and the evil is offering her strength, freedom, and a home. Knowing Jon Schaffer to be a Christian, and the overall semi hidden Christian theme of this album, the monolith is as Satan, making deceptive offers. |

Not that I want to turn this into a religious war instead of talking about what the song means, a wise man doesn't talk shit about what he doesn't know about, and this song is written from a very uninformed perspective. Very dissapointing. |
