| Silverstein – We Are Not The World Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
It's not "sparkling stage" it's "spot-lit stage" :) For the meaning; Well, this song is directed to his wife. Who left him for hi best friend, leaving him with their six-year old daughter. Which we learned in "You're All I Have" was the one one thing that held him together. And because he was blamed for arision the took her. "And now you're taking her away". |

I agree with epiphone098 He DID burn his own huse down, but is never convicted. This song is about burning down his friends house whom stole his wife, but never gets busted becuse he runs away and dies in The End with his wife, who later apologizes. :D ~SeairaRayne |

| Silverstein – Born Dead Lyrics | 16 years ago |

This is the only song on the album I'm not sure about. Here's my best guess; Their probably going threw some sort of insurance problems after their home burnt down, and aren't getting want they deserve because the war going own is putting supplies in low demand. :D ~Seaira Rayne |

| Silverstein – A Great Fire Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Okay, so if you listen to the entire album you learn that the man that lives in the home, is actually the one who started the fire, in attept to kill his wife and daughter, but can't go threw with it and saves their lives. Oh and they've corrected most of the lyrics but this part; "I threw you over my shoulder, with a angel on the other" :D ~Seaira Rayne. |

| Silverstein – A Shipwreck In The Sand Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Actually, this may be the title track of A Shipwreck In The Sand, but it really isn't apart of the main story line. The beggining, th part in quotation marks is a story that the man guy is reading to his daughter, the "You crossed the line, I was honest I never promised anything...." is part of the main story; The man starts his house on fire in a attept to kill his daughter and wife, but couldn't go threw with it an saves their life. After moving into a hotel the wife starts cheating on the husband with his best friend. Filled with regreat the husband starts drinking, realizing he has a problem. And he's angry because his wife isn't thankful he saved her life and burns down his x-wife an best friends home, killing the best friend. In the process getting his child taken away, and blamd for arision. |

If you understand the rest of ASITS this should be simple. The songs about his daughter, who stayed with him after their house was burnt down and him and his wife split. He doesn't want her to turn out like him "anothr fraud, another fake" because he's actaully the one who caught his house on fire in the song, "A Great Fire". Btw, in the next song, his daughter is actually taken from him. |
