| Regina Spektor – Buildings Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think its about a husband who has a wife who's suffering from an alcohol addiction, and he loves her so much that instead of getting her help like he needs to, he listens to her desperate pleas just to give her more time to try to recover on her own. I'm probably way off, but the buildings part seems to me like a bit of hope in this hopeless and vicious cycle that the husband finds his wife falling into. Since buildings can be build so tall nowadays (ie man has overcome so many obstacles to come up with new technology and better ideas) why can't there be the same hope for his wife, that she'll be able to overcome her obstacles and "build her own building up so tall" |

| Nine Days – Absolutely (Story Of A Girl) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Based on what oofus said and my own incite, I think this song is about a couple who's going through a some rough spots. They've probably been together for a while and have gotten very comfortable with each other. They're starting to annoy each other and get in petty fights. Instead of getting closer, they're pulling away from each other and starting to watch what they say around each other to prevent further quarrels. Each day's a pain and they wonder why they put up with it. Based on the refrain, I think that the guy is very irritated at the way his girl friends handles things. He thinks she's emotional enough for everyone in the world, let alone just one girl. And it pissed him off. But then they're are those good times, the ones where she's smiling that huge smile that's big enough to light whole world, and he realizes that its all worth it. |

| Pink – So What Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song's catchy and full of attitude. Her husband just divorced her. She angry and bitter, and she's trying to pretend that is doesn't bother her. She's trying to brush it away by saying "so what?" But underneath her attitude, you can tell that she really hurting. | |
