i actually love this cover & i love this song as well as "asleep" by the smiths. i agree they didn't keep the same meaning, but i still love ben's voice in this song. i don't know, i guess it's just because i'm not a hard core smiths fan. |

i think that it is about two people who are in love and they keep trying to change up their relationship because there is something in the way. they don't want to abandon it, and it is awkward now. they aren't together while they lay on a bed, but instead like brothers and it's not like they're in love... i don't know if that's anything close to the meaning, but that's how i've always interpreted it, and that is why it makes me cry. |
