James and Lars originally had lyrics to this but thought it was better by itself. I 100% agree. The Song is about a man deciding to kill himself but as hê does hê is reminded of why hê wants to live so hê redeems himself at the end. |

The Song was written about all the artist who have died to young like the lead singers of Alice in chains and nirvana. James was coming Close to that before hê went into rehab. He wrote the song in rehab and it almost ended up on St Anger. Glad it didnt. |
