theres more meaning to the phrase love is paranoid than "oh no he hasnt called me the relationship must be over" love is paranoid in the sense that people act different when theyre in love, because when youre really in love its not about having five phone conversations a day, its about the relationship itself. you involuntarily pay more attention to the way things are said, like you can tell if they say i love you differently, your brain picks these things up, and even if you say oh it isnt a big deal, something kicks in and says okay whats going on, something must be up. it makes you sorta paranoid. i know sometimes my boyfriend says things and i cant tell if hes joking and it totally eats at me until i ask and he calls me an idiot for taking him seriously. love is just a weird thing, people lose themselves in it and sometimes it completely destroys them in the end. i agree though, love is paranoid. and im not relating any of what i said to the song itself, its just i disagreed with the way you were displaying "love". |

this is pretty random, and i got the idea off of hey-now saying "the sky is the limit" but people always say there's no limit to your dreams (they're endless, whatever), and playing off "the sky is the limit" maybe she's saying that her dream (what was once her relationship with tim) has been crushed and the sky seems so much deeper than her dreams, saying her dreams have crashed and burned. just a thought. or something along those lines, like i know what i mean i just cant seem to put it into words to explain it :) (maybe why brody used metaphors ;] ) this is one of my faves by the distillers though |
