Bad Brains – Sacred Love Lyrics 16 years ago
It is true, he recorded this from jail. It is about looking at love in a spiritual way. HR had to do this because he was in jail. I think he was trying to convince his girl to try and stay true to him.

Ramones – Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment Lyrics 16 years ago
You need to read "Please Kill Me" and learn were punk started. Punk is an American invention and this is fact among music historians too.

Ramones – Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment Lyrics 16 years ago
England is a very small place and it is easier to become famous there then in America. America being ruled by a huge corporate music industry and the moral majority types kept punk in the underground for years. Personally I wish it had stayed there. I hate dealing with the masses thinking that stupid bands like blink 187 are punk. They are not and never have been.

You are ignorant as to what punk is. The Ramones were one of the first punk bands. Punk Rock started in New York and if you want to creep up from your ignorance of music history I suggest reading "Please Kill Me" It is a fun read too.

Black Lips – O Katrina! Lyrics 16 years ago
Ian from the Black Lips lived in New Orleans. He has gone back and forth living either in NOLA or Atlanta for awhile. He has a community of friends in New Orleans and played in several New Orleans bands before joining the Black Lip. For the other members New Orleans is like the bands second home. The Black Lips knew many people effected by the storm and wrote it as a tribute.

They were one of the first bands to come and play New Orleans after the storm and they played the song that night. People loved it so much, they were begged to play it again in their encore.
