| The Cribs – We Were Aborted Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Does anyone else think the song is actually about abortion? That is the first thing i though of i don't know why. " A breeze blew over exposing A memory so small What is it here for" they had an abortion because they thought it was really small and that it won't matter "The mid-shelf masturbation Leaves a smear on half the nation" masturbation reduced the amount of kids made because people aren't having sex as much and it also says "(they may be views , but they'll never be mine)" kind of send explanatory. I'm probably wrong but whatever that's what i think of |

| MGMT – Love Always Remains Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think this song is about fate. The song is about finding your true love through fate, but you can really relate it to anything. In the beginning he is saying that there is a place that he knows his soul mate is somewhere and he is going to look for her. He is going to go "out west." He is not really 100% sure where it is but he is but if it was meant to be, he is going to find it. "There's a girl out there who's lookin for it too, she's not sure when she'll go or exactly what she'll do. If i am doomed am I the first one or the last? Am I just someone from the past? " he doesn't know if it is too late to find her or if she is there yet. He can just be someone from her past because she already was there. "No one has to hear, the sound of people laughing at their fears, and the ocean and sun are always there, to make you happy if you're feeling scared of the darkness." i think this just refures to when/if he finds here, it will be like a fairy tale and he feels everything will be perfect and that is really why he wants to go. "If I ever saw a ghost it'd change the way I think. I wouldn't gasp for air if ever I did sink. I wouldn't struggle, I'd just let it all out fast, and then start living in the past. " This part kind of reminds me of romeo and Juliet. If she is not there then when he dies he will be with her and then "start living in the past" with her and if he finds her or not, the love always remains |

| The Enemy – Away From Here Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think there is a theme throughout their whole album. It goes with "we'll live and die in these towns." just getting away from everything and leaving it behind and starting with something new. If you listen to every song (except the birthday song) I think each one shows a new problem in the town that they live in. | |

I think it's about a loss of innocents for someone that is too young and how it's bad but it can't be prevented. "link it to the world link it to yourself" because a loss of innocents is everyone's fault including your own. "when you've seen, seen too much, too young, young" they were too young when they saw these things that made them realize what kind of world it is "destroy the spineless, show me it's real. wasting our last chance to come away just break the silence 'cause I'm drifting away away from you" growing up is necessary because you would be ignorant. destroy the people that are ignorant and show me the people that are real and mature. If you don't grow up then eventually everyone will out grow you and be more mature and they will move on to other things that is how i take the song. i know i'm not right cause there is an interview where matt says what it's about and it wasn't that but i forgot what it was about. |

First of all it's "souls" not "cells" I don't know where you guys got cells but it even says souls in the song lyrics. i think it's about someone who wants to be with their old life (relationship/family/friends) so bad, but they know that they can't be because they have to move on. "Far away This ship is taking me far away Far away from the memories Of the people who care if I live or die " i think the ship is his future, and that he knows he has to move on and let the people who cares about him and the people he loves go. My life You electrify my life Let's conspire to ignite All the souls that would die just to feel alive i think that says that he is happy for what he has and doesn't want to let it go because when he leaves he will be hurting the people he is leaving. Because when they ARE together everyone is happy he is there with them, but when he leaves, they are just as upset as he is. this shows the reason he wants to stay and when he says "Our hopes and expectations Black holes and revelations" it's the reasons he wants to leave. because where he is now and what he has now is not enough for him, and it forces him to leave or have a "revelation" "Hold you in my arms I just wanted to Hold you in my arms" when he says this i think it's again showing that he WANTS to stay but know he can't but when he says "I'll never let you go. If you promise not to fade away. Never fade away..." it's means that his past will always he part of who he will be in the future. i know this is really long but that's what i think. also there is an interview with his girlfriend (for all you major muse fans) that says she feels that this song is about their relationship and he even dedicated it for her once during one of Muse's concerts. if that's true then i completely interpenetrated it wrong. |
