| This quickly became my favorite song after I realized how strongly I can relate my own life to it. I feel that it's about a person who used to be frustrated with her life because of the good things that walked in and then out of it, until she learned to accept her dynamic nature and not weep because she couldn't keep her boyfriend. That was her mistake, is that she yearned for the good times in the past to return again instead of letting them pass, as everything inevitably comes to an end. She's the kind of person that changes from season to season, and what she loved in the summer may not be what she will love in the spring. She's happier now that she's comfortable with this, and is optimistic about what lies in the future. | |
