I don't know slang so I can't understand a lot of the song. In particular, the word "rvanul" used in the chorus literally means "tore" or "tore off", but in this context it may mean something like "ran away from" or something. Feel free to add what you know, I am missing many of the words towards the end! I Traveled around all of Europe Yes Even in America I've been But this is not what I have remembered- where I have and have not flown But what I have torn I Traveled around all of Europe Yes Even in refugee camps I've played a few gigs But this is not what I have remembered- what I read, where I lay, But what I have torn, I have torn, I have torn, torn I Traveled around all of Europe Yes Even in the [something] in my summer home [something] I pressed [something] But this is not what I have remembered- what happened when, and what [something] But what I have torn, I have torn, I have torn, torn But this is not what I have remembered I [Something] the mechanic [Something] But this is not what I have remembered- what flew [something] But what I have torn, I have torn, I have torn, torn |

Actually, I think he is repeating "success" in the last line, even though it sounds like it may be "sex" or "6". As in, the song is saying, "No matter where I am, America or Ukraine, life is all a mad rush for success, and I've learned how to get it here because your current music is lame and all the same." Also, has nobody noticed the ridiculous pun on "yeast infection"- either his eastern music is an "east infection", or he's the "east infection" because he's a man from the east going around and sleeping with the girls here. |
