thats a really interesting theory. I kind of thought for a while it referred to the devil and sin taking over her life or something along those lines, sins like sex before marriage and all that and knowing she shouldn't but doing it anyways so it leaves her empty. Idk it was just a thought, maybe her before she found God, Referring to how some people feel. |

| I said it previously, its a possible thing. Wanting to "Make out with God" isn't so strange a case, there are alot of people who want to be so intimately close to god, as if he were a father or mother or boyfriend or girlfriend, anything you need him to be people have had intimate relationships as such to fill a void in their lives so they don't have to depend on the world and what it has to offer more than they depend on him. I mentioned a secret place in my previous post. His love is unconditional and its probably one of the most desired things in the world. People will go to lengths that even you can't possibly imagine to be close to God when in such a place, once they find it. | |

There are alot of valid points. The tongue dancing behind her lips could be any of those things. Theres also another option though. My pastor talked about a man in the bible that got so intimate with god he stripped his clothes and didn't care what anyone thought. It was his time in his "secret place" that she talks about in this song. Everyone has a secret place. Tongue dancing behind her lips could be many things, but i think its more of an intimate thing (in my personal idea of it. everyone will interpret a song differently. if she says that its her speaking in tongues then thats her interpretation of her own song. Others will think what they will, ignorant or intelligent.) You know how when you're kissing someone or you feel like you want to, because you either are so into the moment or just long for it so deeply, you feel your tongue behind your teeth just moving around in anticipation. There is such a longing in Christianity that people just desire to be as close to him as possible, as close as you could want to get to a boyfriend or a girlfriend. It may be looked down upon, but if you're an intimately strong Christian (bible banger or not) you'll do crazy things to get close to God sometimes, When going into your secret place. |
